Biohazard Safety Box – 5ltr

Biohazard Safety Boxes (usually made of cardboard) are used to dispose of needles and syringes typically during immunization campaigns.

The safety box is designed for the safe disposal of medical sharps and needles which may otherwise result in injuries.

They are made of Yellow Duplex Craft Board. 285 x 160 x 125 ± 5mm (External) and 850 GSM ± 5%.

Defanged/Cut Needle (5 ltr – suitable for single-use syringes 1 ml to 10 ml.

Confirm to WHO standard WHO/PQS/E10/SB01.1

The main idea is to be able to dispose of the entire device without further manipulations.

• Once 3/4 full, the box should be properly closed (sealed).
• Elimination is usually done by incineration.

• Make sure these containers are properly marked.
• Make sure the container once sealed cannot be easily opened.
