Application conditions

• Use 25mls/20L knapsack to give the best results
• shake it well before applying merit on your farm
• Spray your farm immediately if you spot ‘window panes’ on maize leaves
• Alternate Merit with other insecticides for best results and to avoid resistance

Conclusion

1. Merit penetrates through the skin or cuticle of Fall Armyworm and after a while kills it
2. Fall Armyworm dies when it feeds on maize leaves treated with Merit
3. Fall Armyworm stops feeding two hours after ingesting merit or comes in contact with the chemical.
