Trigard 75WP a systemic growth regulator (IGR) for the control of dipterous leaf miner (Liriomyza spp.) larvae in ornamentals, peas, beans, and other vegetables. The systemic dipterous leaf miner specialist acts as an insect growth regulator and is selective toward beneficial. When used in alternation with DYNAMEC for leaf miner control, resistance build-up is prevented due to different modes of action.
An insect growth regulator, Trigard penetrates leaves and kills leafminer larvae before they cause damage. Trigard offers up to two weeks of residual activity and is compatible with existing IPM programs, so growers can rest easy knowing their vegetables are protected from damaging leafminers.

Trigard 75WP strongly inhibits the development of fly larvae. The emergence of adults is suppressed or incomplete. Adults are not killed but reduced egg hatch has been observed. It penetrates the leaves when applied as a foliar spray and is rapidly absorbed by the roots when applied to the soil.

Highly effective on dipterous larvae, especially on Liriomyza trifolii, Liriomyza huidobrensis, and related leaf miner species and on mushroom flies (sciarids).
Trigard 75WP Directions for use
Ornamentals:Â Liriomyza huidobrensis and Liriomyza trifolii and related leafminer species: -Apply 150-300 g of Trigard 75 WP per ha as a foliar spray or 20-30 g/100 lt. During a heavy infestation, a weekly spray interval is recommended.
A single soil application of 250-1000 g of Trigard 75 WP per ha provides a dose-dependent lasting effect from 2-8 weeks.
Mushrooms:Â Fly larvae (sciarids): -Apply 6-12 g of Trigard 75 WP/10 m2 as a surface treatment at or up to 3 days after casing. Apply on a pre-wetted surface. Water thoroughly to obtain uniform distribution.
Snow peas and French beans: Rate: 150-300 g/ha. Spray volume: 200-800 lt./ha.
Knapsack sprayer: Use 9 g/15 lt. knapsack and 12 g/20 lt. knapsack. This is based on a spray volume of 500 liters per hectare. Spray interval: 10-14 days. The number of sprays per season: maximum 3 sprays.
