Funguran – OH 50 WP is a blue copper-based fungicide and bactericide for the control of early blight, bacterial blight, black spots, and septoria leaf spots.

Funguran OH 50 WP is a broad-spectrum copper fungicide and bactericide formulated with Copper Hydroxide 77% w/w (equivalent to 50% metallic copper). It offers preventive protection against fungal and bacterial diseases such as coffee berry disease, leaf rust, halo blight, and early and late blight in tomatoes and beans.

This high-load copper formulation provides outstanding rainfastness, superior adhesion to leaf surfaces, and long-lasting crop protection. Funguran OH 50 WP is ideal for use in coffee, French beans, tomatoes, citrus, grapes, nuts, and other horticultural crops.

Systemic

Funguran – OH 50 WP Mechanism of action

Contact fungicide, with preventive action against diseases. Upon contact with the sprayed surface, spores and bacteria absorb honey, which blocks their development and cell division. Copper disrupts the metabolism of pathogens by inhibiting many enzymatic reactions, predominates over other metals in cells, and stops the production of cell wall proteins.

Funguran – OH 50 WP Mode of Action

It fights against pathogenic fungi, especially those belonging to the Phycomycete group; – Provides preventive action by inhibiting spore germination and disrupting mycelium development inside the plant; – Depending on local conditions, Funguran OH 50 WP has remnant protective effects of up to 14 days.

Funguran – OH 50 WP Application Dose

Mix at a 1 pound to 0.5 to 1 gallon of water ratio, “Tre-Hold” or latex paint. Paint trunks of trees from the soil surface to the lowest scaffold limbs. Apply in May prior to summer rains and/or in the fall prior to wrapping trees for freeze protection.
