Horiver by Koppert 10 Sticky Cards Wetstick Blue are double-sided sticky traps for the monitoring and trapping of flying insects, such as whitefly and fungus gnats.

Horiver by Koppert 10 Sticky Cards Wetstick Blue are useful tools in the monitoring of whitefly, aphids, fungus gnats and leaf miners. Those insects are attracted to the yellow colour and fly towards it. They stick to the trap after landing. Yellow sticky traps can be applied both indoors and outdoors.

• Polysterene cards coated with wet sticky glue.

• Place traps in areas with high risk of pest infestation such as areas near doors, gable ends and lateral ventilation openings
• Attach traps to wires or sticks at max. 30 cm above the crop and adjust height when plants are growing
• Do not place traps in-between the plants as parasitic wasps will then also be trapped
• For Tuta absoluta place black traps 15-25 cm above the ground for young plants and 50 cm above the ground for mature plants
• Replace the traps when largely covered by insects and/or debris

• For monitoring use one Horiver Wetstick per 200 m²
• For trapping in hotspots use one Horiver Wetstick per 2 to 20 m²
• For trapping Tuta absoluta use at least one Horiver Wetstick trap per 100 m²

How do HORIVER blue sticky traps work?

Thrips and leaf miners are attracted by the yellow colour of the sticky traps. They fly towards it and get stuck in the glue.
You can use the sticky traps to determine how many and which pests occur in the crop. The grid pattern on the traps facilitate counting of the trapped insects. If the number of trapped pest insects rapidly increases; it is time to take extra measures and release biological control agents. The sticky traps can also be used for the trapping of pest insects. Note that this will not be enough to completely control a pest population. Therefore, we recommend the use of additional products against the pest in question.
