When the pig stops pushing, the water pressure and the weight of the steel ball and mandril will make them tight coupling, so the water will stop flowing immediately. This kind of pig drinker has a strong filtration capacity for sand or other impurities. Nipple drinkers must reduce the pressure when it is put into use, in order to avoid the water flowing too fast for pigs to drink.
