Description
Zinc Oxide chemical compound, ZnO, is a fine white powder, that is nearly insoluble in water but soluble in acids or alkalies. It occurs as white hexagonal crystals or a white powder commonly known as Zinc Oxide White Seal.

Zinc Oxide is widely used as an additive in numerous applications and products including plastics, ceramics, glass, cement, lubricants, paints, adhesives, sealants, pigments, foods, batteries, fire retardants, and first aid tapes.

Zinc Oxide Property

White hexagonal crystallization or powder. Tasteless, delicate in quality. Soluble in acid, sodium hydroxide, and ammonium chloride, and insoluble in water, ethanol, and ammonia.

Zinc Oxide Application
  • Used as a vulcanizing agent in rubber
  • Used as a melting agent and emulsion in the ceramic industry
  • Used as a nutritional supplement in food and feed
  • Used as a sunscreen in cosmetics
  • Used as a whitening agent in the dye industry.
