Description

Occasion Star 200SC is an insecticide for the control of Tuta absoluta, false codling moth, leafrollers, diamondback moth, thrips, leafhoppers, and whiteflies among other pests on a wide range of crops.

 

Occasion Star 200SC is a broad-spectrum, systemic with contact and stomach action insecticide for control of thrips, caterpillars, and spider mites on roses, thrips, and diamondback moth in broccoli and fall armyworm in maize and sweet corn.

 

 

Occasion Star 200SC Mode of Action
  • Indoxacarb (Oxadiazine insecticide group) acts by blocking the nerve sodium channels in the nervous system of the insect.
  • Emamectin benzoate (Avermectin insecticide group) acts by interfering with neurotransmitters of the target pest, which results in disruption of nerve impulses.

 

 

How to Use Occasion Star 200SC

Cereals;– Maize, Sorghum, Wheat, Rice, Barley Fall armyworm (FAW) Foliar spray:

100-150 ml/ha in 500 litres of water

0.2-0.3 ml per litre of water

 Apply as first signs of infestation or egg hatch peak period before 3rd instar larvae as a full cover spray.

Repeat maximum 2 applications at 10 day intervals per season.
Leaf vegetables;- Broccoli, Cabbage, Kales, Spinach, Lettuce

Fruit vegetables;- Tomato, Capsicum, Eggplant

Root/tuber vegetables;- Potato

 Chewing insects; Caterpillars, Leafminers, Beetles, Bollworms, Webworms, Budworms, Leafworms

Occasion Star 200SC is foliar applied. Ensure adequate coverage of the crop foliage for best results.

 

 

Application Timing

Apply Occasion Star 200SC at first signs of infestation or egg hatch peak period, before the 3rd instar larvae, and repeat applications at 10-day intervals per season, on regular scouting for successful control.

 

 

How to Prepare Occasion Star 200SC Spray Mixture

Fill the spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add the required amount of Occasion Star 200SC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing. Use the spray mixture on the same day of preparation.

 

 

Compatibility

Occasion Star 200SC is compatible with most commonly used pesticides and liquid fertilizers. However, DO NOT tank mix with any product unless your own prior testing has shown that the combination is physically compatible, effective, and non-injurious under your condition.

 

 

Phototoxicity

When used as recommended, Occasion Star 200SC is not phytotoxic.

 

 

Re-Entry Period

DO NOT enter treated areas during the restricted-entry interval of 12 hours. If entry is necessary, appropriate protective clothing should be worn.
