How Trevin Dust Works
Trevin Dust and similar pesticides containing carbaryl overstimulate an insect’s nervous system, eventually making it impossible for the insect to breathe. An insect must eat or touch carbaryl in order for the pesticide to be effective. Sprinkling Trevin Dust powder around beds, homes, garden plants, trees, or atop anthills, directly where insects have been spotted, could get rid of problematic insect colonies in the treated area.

- Carbaryl is a carbamate insecticide that kills insects reversibly by inactivating the enzyme acetylcholinesterase.
- Lambda-cyhalothrin is a pyrethroid insecticide with dermal contact and ingestion action.
- Pyrethroids act on nerve membranes by delaying the closing of the activation gate for the sodium ion channel
- This results in prolonged permeability of the nerve to sodium and produces a series of repetitive nerve signals in sensory organs, sensory nerves, and muscles.
- Feeding and movements are curtailed and eventual death occurs within hours.

How to Apply Trevin Dudu Dust
Dust the product on the infested area and repeat it after the appearance of the pest.
Cockroaches: Dust the powder on cracks, floors, and crevices. Repeat every 3 months or at the re-emergence of pests.
Ants: Dust around the house and repeat the exercise when the ants re-appear.
Fleas: Dust on floors, cracks, and crevices. Dust the carpets, rugs, etc.
