Coragen 20 SC is a new generation insecticide used for the control of larvae of various Lepidopteran and Coleopteran species. Coragen 20 SC controls insect oviposition and kills the eggs of some insect species.

Coragen 20 SC is a contact insecticide that contains Chlorantraniliprole (Rynaxypyr) 200g/l as the active ingredient. It works by paralyzing the muscles of the caterpillar upon feeding on the sprayed plants. The insect pests will in turn die out of starvation due to a lack of calcium in the muscles that enables movement of any kind.

Coragen 20 SC Recommended Rates

Tomatoes, French beans, snow peas (Caterpillars Helicoverpa amigera): Use 5-6ml/20 Ltr water (125-150ml/Ha).

Cabbages (Diamond Back Moth): Use 6ml/20 Ltr and ensure 500 Litres/Ha of the solution is used for thorough coverage.

Maize, Sorghum: (Fall Armyworm, False Codling Moth) Use 8ml per 20 Litres of water (200ml/Ha) in 500 liters of water.

PHI: Tomatoes and chilies 1 day; Cabbages 3 days, Green beans with pods 3 days.

It has long-lasting protection of 14-21 days as the spray interval and a post-harvest interval of 1-3 days for most crops.

It only kills the target pests leaving that are beneficial such as bees that are present during the flowering stage unharmed and are also very safe to the environment and the user.
